Evangelical Catholicity contributor Steven Wedgeworth has posted an excellent article at the Biblical Horizons blog on The Synod of Dort and the Complexities of Being Reformed which is worth a read by both Calvinists and non-Calvinists alike. Steven’s post in my opinion serves to dispell some of the more simplistic notions concerning the Synod, as well as presentations of Reformed Theology and history which portray the TULIP as the centerpiece of Reformed orthodoxy which was articulated by all the Reformed from earliest days.
Wow! That is a superb article, indeed! I learned quite a bit that I did not know before. I realized the Reformation tradition was broad, but I didn’t realize the extent of that breadth.
Good stuff, Wedgeworth!
